Tell us what you do and why you love to do it?

I am an artist, I am a creator. I work mostly in flowers, do some photography, I have a coffee shop, all things creative. I love doing it because it's the way that I stay alive. It's like being fully self-expressed, it's a way I can be free, and it's a way that I can inspire other people to live their best life.

What’s your favorite Secret LA spot?

Los Angeles is one of the coolest places because there are so many jewels, and there are so many beautiful things that make this city special. I love going to my coffee shop Bloom and Plume, I think it's one of Los Angeles’s beautiful jewels. It's kind of still a secret and I will let that secret out for sure! I also like my friends over at Union, they do really cool stuff and I love their activations and how they serve the community. I think it’s really really cool. If you want a really beautiful and cute experience, the new Bottega Louie in West Hollywood, sitting in that back patio is so pretty, I’m really about that.

What is something you will never wear again after this winter and what are you excited to wear this summer?

I say never say never! I love my things, I love my coats, I love my onesies, I love my everything. I guess I'm trying to move away from sweatpants so I can move into a bikini this summer. But, that remains to be seen, so we’ll see.

What’s something new that you’ve learned recently?

I learned something new the other day! Bird of Paradise is one of my favorite flowers. I love its brazilliance, I love how bold, how spiky, it's like don't touch me but come and approach me because I’m really beautiful and I have really bold colors. It just seems like such a black flower to me, I just love it. And I just realized Bird of Paradise and Bloom and Plume have the same initials essentially, how did I never put that together?! I’ve been in business for ten years and I just put this together on Sunday, which was yesterday. Crazy!

Did you bake bread during quarantine?

I did not bake bread during quarantine because I am not a white lady.

Would you take Sunset or the Freeway?

Toss Up. I took the freeway this morning, I always actually avoid Sunset if I'm being honest. I love Sunset, but she's been ridden a few times too many.
