Fred Segal started a retail revolution when he opened his 300 sq. foot store in 1961, filling it almost entirely with denim. Not to mention charging an unheard-of $19.95 for jeans, creating the very idea of premium denim. He took the concept even further with the introduction of the first-ever Jeans Bar in 1965, and we’re carrying on his legacy with a new take made for 2022. With a focus on emerging brands, sustainable production and just the right fits, we’re redefining the denim experience online and in our Sunset Blvd. flagship store.
